There I was this morning, laying in bed checking twitter when I saw my girl @Reccewife post a tweet about planking. That got me thinking: How long could it take me to do a quick plank every single day? I decided I would plank every single day and time it. What an easy way to see my progression over the course of the year, right?

Over on instagram there is a group of us motivating and supporting each other. I feel like I have a ton of work out friends right here, even though they are miles, and miles, and miles away!
This year is going to be the year I start taking care of myself, my health, and my wellness. Plank on, friends!

You are going to be awesome, and I will vitural plank with you anytime!
I love your honesty. Maybe I will try this too.
I am so going to do this as well. What an awesome idea. I have started walking every morning, but this will be a nice addition to that in the evenings or when I need a break from homework :) You go girl!!!
I don't plank, but I am in my workout clothes and my yoga mat is near by, I think I will give it a try! :)
I'm totally joining you on this. I've been trying to do some sort of activity/exercise each day, and adding a timed plank sounds like a great idea to strengthen my core. thanks for the encouragement!!
When I started planking in 2010 I was *maybe* able to hold 15-20 seconds. At my highest endurance I could hold for 2 minutes. Now I am at about 1:15-1:30. Go get it girl, you can do this! Planks are the best, best, best way to strengthen your core. You have inspired me to rock these at home.
Good for you! Planks are hard but so good! Love your workout outfit BTW.
way to go! I hate planks.
I heard over the radio that twitter is the BEST way to keep the motivation flowing. it's a great community of supporters!
