Making Me Feel Healthy {52 Lists // Week 7}

While reading through my dashboard of blogs this morning I found a link up that I'm going to join in on. Well, I found a few actually, but today, I'm starting in on one about lists! Moorea Seal is prompting us with one list to make every week and week 7 (I will catch up, I promise you this!) is: List The Things That Make You Feel Healthy!

My mind immediately flooded with things that make me feel healthy as of late:

  • hiking on the trails on base
  • "wogging" on the track
  • riding the stationery bike
  • new sneakers
  • soaking in the sun through the window in our office
  • a de-cluttered living room
  • clementines
  • stretching
  • planking
  • doing roll-ups (like sit ups, with straight legs)
  • kissing my husband
  • fresh veggies
  • sweet potatoes
  • a cleaned up hair cut
  • shopping my closet for clothes that had gotten too tight
  • knowing my favorite sweater is getting too big
  • the thought of being drowned in color on my first 5K
  • spending time with my Father during my Lenten devotional
  • a shopping cart full of nutritious foods
  • knowing in a few short days we will be fast food free for two whole months!
  • driving around town, sunroof open, blasting country music
  • A FRESH BLOG DESIGN, man- that was GOOD for my soul!
  • not drinking soda, not craving soda, being almost two months free of it in my system
  • getting a good nights rest
  • spaghetti squash as a pasta replacement
  • trying new recipes
  • spending more time on me
  • looking forward to the weekend

How about you, friends? What is making you feel healthy in your mind, spirit, and body?

I love this list! It's such a good reminder that making ourselves feel healthy isn't just about working out at the gym and eating salad. It's buying the right ingredients, trying new recipes, working out wherever you have space and time. Love!

I love this list. LOVE IT!! It inspires me to create a list like this of my own and post it somewhere in the house. It's these positive and healthy reminders and keep a smile on my face, and help me to appreciate and be grateful for the little things during deployment.

ps. You've made me even more curious about spaghetti squash. I've always been pretty intimidated by it.

You did a color 5K?? Cool! I've always wanted to do one of those.

Fabulous list. It's so fun to see what makes everyone feel wonderful.
