Meal Plan Monday : 18 March

Hello, hello, friends! Jane from Taingamala and I are back for another fun week of sharing our menus and recipes with you!

We created this fun link up as a way to learn from our friends and readers about some new delicious dishes! We would love for you to join us, and we simply ask that you follow your hosts (Jane and I, either via GFC or Bloglovin'), link to ONE POST down below (either your meal plan for the week or a recipe you've recently tried!), and finally that you help us spread the word by sharing our link up button or by linking back to us!

This week Gene and I have a super easy kitchen schedule! I only have to cook a few times, which makes me deliriously happy, and three of the times are going to be CROCK POT nights! Can I get an AMEN!

Monday: We are kicking the week off with those delicious Philly Cheesesteak Green Peppers from Peace, Love, Low Carb that I make about once a week!

Tuesday: Heartland Chili! (In the crock pot!) I never really have a chili recipe and even as I was peeling the label off of the can in the grocery store to get this one I'm not even sure I'll be following this one to a T. I'll let you know all about it though!

Recipe from a can of Bush's Kidney Beans // I'll be sure to share it!
Wednesday: San Diego Citadel Muster. These are fun nights once a year where Citadel Alumni get together to catch up, socialize, and honor the passing of fellow alumni.

Thursday: Italian Chicken a la Crock Pot! I'll be sure to let you know how this one goes! Last week we tried a new recipe for Italian Chicken from Jill over at Our Story! It wasn't half bad, and we decided to try it again, a little different. I'm tossing the chicken in a crock pot under some artichoke hearts and fire-roasted diced tomatoes! I guess the last few minutes I'll toss the cheese on to melt it down. Done and done!

Friday: We are going to the Museum of Music for a Members Event! All the deets will be here on the blog next week, for sure!

Saturday: Camp Pendleton OWC Margaritaville Auction benefiting the scholarship fund! This should be a FUN night!

Sunday: Enchilada Chicken Stew! This one is super delicious and is in regular rotation around our house! We will go hiking earlier in the day, and so we might even treat ourselves to some sour cream and tortilla chips on the side!

Sounds great! We have a few similar items on our menus this week! I'm trying to refrain from making chili today instead of Tuesday since school was cancelled for snow. BUT I might have to make the switch because chili sounds perfect for a cold, snowy day!

I just got a whole bunch of freezer to crock pot recipes, I love them! The crockpot is just so awesome! I'll be sharing my recipes on my blog, but BBQ chicken, chicken fajitas and pizza chicken are in the freezer and ready!

I don't even eat meat but that all looks so good! My favorite meaty chili recipe is actually a turkey chili recipe my friend Meredith gave me! I still make it, just without the meat. If you ever want it, let me know!
